@kiki ye am half Ukrainian and half Russian. but the Russian is some confusing mix. grandma apparently grew up in Siberia with a goat but was Belarusian originally and somehow grew up rich with German maids and 10 siblings, and grandad was from Yugoslavia which apparently isn't even a real country and had a civil war or something idk

damnit now I'm looking all this up and i guess we were all communists. I had issues with my mom being a communist and I'm ancap. a lot of our disagreements stemmed from it even though she basically only mentioned being pro communism once when I was an adult

but seems you were rich in Belarus during my grandma's lifetime if you held high positions in their communist party. and Yugoslavia was a communist state. I think my grandad fought in their wars

the irony is my grandad became pretty rich in Ukraine through industry so I didn't think he was a communist lol

God why are they all communists! ragh!
