I relay on Google maps as fuck. I don't know what I would do without it.

Sat nav? Regular maps?

@karwler Regular maps aren't that useful if you're totally lost. if you have a general idea of where you are, then yea. But it doesn't give you immediate alternative routes to take if you miss a turn.

@jhh2450 You can always ask someone where you are or look at street names and check on the map. I mean you should have a vague idea of where you are.

I _PROMISE_ you... if you get lost in the middle of nowhere , no cell service, no GPS, no offline maps, no people ... You realise how precious 'regular' maps are ...

And as a note, they work better than any maps or navigation, because they make you think about where you go ... Not just following some kind of software which tells you where to go.

@karwler I mean, If you're driving somewhere you've never driven before, you'll have no idea where you are. Like when you're on vacation in a different state you've never been to before.
