I think that's mostly true, I've been in the dev arena way before attending college and it just gets boring and depressing, it also becomes easier to distinguish between good and bad professors most ain't good at least in my campus. However, most companies require you to have a title to get paid fairly in my country.

I totally agree with you! The most useless thing about university is actually making all those assignments that require a lot of time and basically do not make any sense.
