    Erm, it’s a system drive.

    Your downloading a system update
    And Microsoft most likely hardcoded the update locations in as \path\to\dir
    Instead of C:\path\to\dir

    Not sure which one that is, but did you try the tool that allows you to create a usb stick and then update from there maybe?

    Umm because non hard codes paths need more code?

    @simpleJack 😵🔫 I read that as windows creators not creation 🤷‍♂️

    Still it’s MS you shouldn’t have a D/E/F drive only a C as far as they concerned 😧

    @simpleJack Microsoft is trying to save you from porn stored on the system drive.

    Time to 'Shift + Del'.

    They used to just host the iso on the site but now they force me to use their glorified fucking download manager to do (more difficulty) what i could already do fucking 5 years ago all in the name of progress right?

    @jespersh

    I just want the iso to do a fresh re-install, i never upgrade an OS it always breaks stuff.

    The problem im having is that this stupid piece of shit automatically tries to download the ISO to the C:\ which is my tiny SSD

    They had the effort to notify you there isnt enough space but not the extra 5 fucking lines of code to let you pick a different download folder

    I@C0D4

    Im on windows 7 still, the Media Creation Tool is supposed to download a windows 10 iso so that I can format and do a fresh install. I want to do a fresh install because its common knowledge that upgrading multiple OS versions often leads to programs breaking and crashing. The problem im having is that the tool is programmed in such a way that it will only download that windows 10 iso to the C:\ drive, even though it could be downloaded easily to any drive in the same way i could download a pdf to any drive, locking which drive it must be downloaded to is ridiculous
