Anyone else dealing with constant back pain? (Sometimes wrist pain??!) I try to sit in a proper posture but after coding for about an hour, fucking back pain always comes back. And I've been only coding for almost 3 years and am in my early 20. Need to change my habit else this shit will get worse.

Physical activity, I also had back and wrist pains and also my finger would go slightly numb. It stopped after I started going to gym. After that I talked with my friend who is physical therapist and he told me that any activity that can strengthen back and shoulders can help.

I'm currently working with a physio to correct all the damage prolonged sitting has caused - *a lot*. You need to see a physio regarding your wrists because the problem could be in the muscles in your forearms. Do not ignore this. A stand up desk may be too expensive, but this alternative by Uncaged Ergonomics worked wonders for me: https://www.uncagedergonomics.com

Check out the WorkEz and the Active Standing mat. Modern day life has made humans utilise their toes less and this can have really bad effects on your body. Get up and walk around every so often, I do some muscle activation exercises at least twice a day. See a physio.

@peacWhis haha, necessity is the mother of invention. Woodwork would be quite a nice name for yet another js framework.

Start lifting - like literally, deadlifting. You'll never have any back pain again no matter matter your posture.

A really nice chair, or a standing desk will really help. At my office i have to get up and walk around for 15 mins of the hour. I don't always, but it really helps when I'm hurting. Exercise really helps too. Don't just run, lift weights too. Lots of core stuff if your back hurts :)
