can't understand you text interface guys. the mouse is developed! typing takes time. and looking like a "hacker" by typing like secretary doesn't make you good

Go on, use Windows or install a DE on a server.

Also I tend to be far faster getting things done, typing in commands ( macros; aliases ftw ) than pointing then clicking ^^

Typing might take you time. I really enjoy the command line. UIs are often just proxies for the command line, and they get it wrong *all the time*.

for real? CLI is just awesome you can make everything the software is programmed to, GUI not allways.

servers usually (should not) have GUI too , soo... its a win-win situation be used to CLI (command line interface)

@ChrisCooney true about proxies, but ui is a set of commands to help you out, if one or two are not what you need use terminal(for ever :D)

    This is a troll right?

Everyone knows the command line is more powerful, more flexible and easier to use.

Let's face it, Windows 10 has just added bash in order to give advanced users the power they need. Naive users only get to point and click with the mouse....

@Wildgoose yes it's very intuitive, easy to use. you just.. have to break your fingers in keyboard to navigate few folders. and it's so fast only takes to write 20~ symbols to do what takes whole button click.
don't get me wrong, I don't say command line is inferior... my point is that typing is not always efficient, as well point and click not always does what you want. some people do it because it's "better" this way.. that's what I don't get...
