I'll never understand how big companies like Amazon can get away with such a shitty UX.

    TBH, is don't like the Amazon app. It is hard to use and I had given up on it. :( I as a Web Developer can think of better ways of displaying your app.

    Honestly, Amazon has the worst UX team out of any of the major tech companies.

    The bigger company is, the more mistakes it can afford. Just look at MS and Win Me, Win Vista, Win 8, Win 10.

    They have money and market position, some money burning isn't big problem.

    The Amazon Video mobile app is just good enough for me to not abandon their video service. Every other interface from them is terrible. All of them need to be much better.

    I once talked with an Amazon enginee about there site. It is highly optimized, not to look good but to make a user buy more thinks. They spend countless hours and A/B Tests to get this design 🤔

    They get away with it by becoming influencers in UX, people are bound to listen especially with their size thus it becoming acceptable.
