After the tornado that is @notroot has blown over, I think it is safe to resume normal ranting behaviour.
Thanks 👍3 -
As the outrage surrounding Facebook burns on though the night, Google continues to happen and nobody bats an eyelid...3

Currently fuming at the sight of a store bought WordPress template that has social links that go nowhere, gibberish under CTA's and broken links galore.
I have contacted the poor bastard that has this website made and the soon to be poor bastard that made it.
Take some pride in your work, it's honestly insulting to be in the same industry as people like this!1 -
Was wondering why my rig was slowing down to a crawl to find it was MalwareBytes so had no choice but to remove it...Goodnight sweet price.6

When i was working for an ISP, our lead developer was the most arrogant, self indulgent person with the worst god complex imaginable.
He would continuously belittle people until eventually i snapped and he stopped.
It wasn't long after that i lost that job because of my 'performance' which of course i challenged with proof of it being utter bullshit to which they removed my proof and continued on like it didn't matter.2 -

I have seen a few rants on here with people struggling with the problems life throws at them. Just remember in your loneliest hour, there are 40 thousand friends waiting...
Stay strong, stay bright...3 -
How would you support multiple versions of an API and why?
- Multiple version instances behind a load balancer.
- Versioned controllers behind a proxy.
Curious to hear yours thoughts and reasoning.2 -
The few times i have pushed code to the repo when it's not ready.
Granted it was so i can carry on working on it elsewhere but it wasn't my proudest moment.4 -

I hate how Sketch has become a standard in design when it only supports a single platform.
What i hate more is that state "regrettably" on their website but won't fucking do anything about it.
If you want to be treat seriously, get your shit together.3 -
So this just happened with my ISP, i have no words...
The fact you have my password in front of you in plain text is fucking terrifying and i know you do because i used to work for an ISP.9 -
