watched first two episodes of mr. robot and it seems pretty good so far. does it go like other hacker shows/movies or does it stay good?

It stays a lot more better than you would have ever expected

Just keep in mind that some shows just "fast forward" some coding/hacking actions because we wouldn't like to stay 45 minutes or two episodes waiting for a package sniffer to get the right information. Haha

I thought it was interesting and watched the first season ... but it was so gray and numb (emotionally) overall that it put me off.

I'm passing on the second season.

They take some shortcuts on the tec side every now and then but most of the time it's pretty accurate and it's nice to see a show that takes the time and effort to show technology the way it really his and not witchcraft or 21st sorcery.
Storywise it was pretty much Fight Club for geeks.

Made my brain melt out of my ears.
