I've been waiting for months now to buy a MacBook Pro retina because the 2016 edition should be coming out soon, but I'm getting increasingly itchy feet with wanting to buy.
Do you guys think it will be worth the wait? Do I carry on waiting, or buy now? :p

Of what i had hear, the difference between the 2015 and the 2016 Macbook Pro will be mostly in the design. Yes, the new one will be a bit more powerful and maybe with some new technologies. But if you dont want to wait until October and pay a hundred of dollars more, the 2015 model is a great machine. You decide man :)

Performance wise, don't expect much. But chances are they'll bring new hardware.

Buy the best shit you can afford at the time you need it. Having said that always buy the latest model, mainly because it will be a years more usable than last years model. Wait, you will always be pissed off that you didn't!!!

Wait I didn't because I didn't think a new one was coming out this year but now that I hear one is I'll be selling mine to get the better one.

I just bought a used max out MacBook Pro 15 with 16gb ram and quad core i7 2.6 processor.... it's a beast and will hold me down until the next gen comes out

I was in your exact same position last week. I just pulled the trigger & got the 2015

@SnyderL convincing arguments :) I think I agree, but are any of these details confirmed?
I hate the new keyboard, I like the one on the current model.
If I do wait and the new one comes out and it's bad, then surely the current model will be reduced in price so win win?

@PixelDrift I LOVE it. I've only had it for a week, but it's such an upgrade from my 13 in Air
