Sadly they went late into open source because of the former CEO.
    That's good to know

Where is this data coming from?

More curious about actual contributions, like commits or ++/-- lines in open repositories.

I mean, it's very easy to hook up the onboarding in your identity/access management to Github Enterprise, just have an account for every employee by default.

@bittersweet Although I've noticed that it is extremely hard to measure "contributions".

There's people who commit every keystroke and fart, while I'm a super lazy committer. And line diffs aren't easy either... if you spend a day copy pasting template element or cleaning up large files, that racks up your score fast.

@Froot referring to the 388 people from Uber. I hate Uber as you can see. They're known for shady, unethical, and even illegal stuff.

@-psr mm okay. I love Uber, it's a great service, best one available here.

@Froot next time ask your driver if he likes it

@-psr Might sound harsh but I don't care if he likes it. He's not forced to do it, if he doesn't like it he can just go do something else.

Also, whenever we've talked about Uber with the driver they seem happy with it. I mean it makes sense since they wouldn't drive if they weren't. 😄
