    It looked so cool when I checked it, but then the security rules where so cumbersome I gave up completely.

    it's great because you can just start building and I'm using it for an app for users to upload short stories to be voted on... doesn't seem super secure though.

    I've used it in conjunction with p5.js to make a game that uses voice recognition. It's so simple.

    I recently built a auto scheduler with firebase (all js, not backend scripts). I love it for simple front end projects.
