What I’ve done in the past in such situations at my old workplace is just not give a shit. Did my working hours (9-5) and that’s it. If they wanted me to work overtime because of mistakes from the management side, then that’s not my fault and I didn’t work for free during those additional hours.
They kept making the same mistakes every other project. I gave up hope that they’d ever learn after my first few projects, so don’t stress about it.
You can’t hire 9 women to deliver a baby in 1 month. If management can’t understand that, then there’s not much you can do from your side.
