godot7988yThink of some game, website, webapp, app or ai or really anything that comes to your mind and is challenging and try to code it. If you fail, try again. If you fail again, learn. I usually do this if I am depressed, and rarely I create something beautiful. Cheer up ;)

If you see my last rant it was about a burnout I had. I was at the exact same place as you a couple of months ago. I felt the same as you. Firstly seek out some professional help and speak out your problem. Secondly don't fight it, let it cool down and all is going to be good at the end.
More important is to share your thoughts and love with people you love. They must know what this is your going throught.
Also stop thinking badly and I mean conciously command yourself to stop when a bad thought is arising.
Be safe my friend and know your are not the only one that is going through such a things. -
You really should communicate this with someone close to you. Someone's burnout for a while but best to speak with someone.

Lvx0178yFind a meet-up for devs or similar industry people. Then take a concept, system or mechanic that you are unfamiliar with and code the hell out of it. Doesn't matter if it's a full app or not, just learn something new. Your new mantra, You got this. :)
I'm in a rut I haven't programmed in 20 days I feel depressed and like my life is a complete waste of time. I know this isn't a place to vent but I feel like maybe someone's been in my place before and they can help. thanks for reading you guys are awesome.
