Black panther is overrated. 😾

Overrated as a superhero movie or overrated as the most important social movie about black people ever?

I don't think a superhero movie has a chance to not disappoint with the status appointed to it.

@CWins overrated as 100% rotten tomato score. It's 97% now. At first, I thought someone hacked rottentomatos, soon realize they give it this score for real. The story is basically Batman movie without super villain

@CWins N yes, I know black panther is the earliest black super hero. This is the first black super hero solo movie. It's ok, but 97% just too much

It's awesome that it has an almost all Black cast, but the forced, awkward jokes ruined some scenes for me.
I also highly doubt any critic would ever dare say a bad word about any Marvel movie, nevermind the first Black superhero Marvel movie.

@IllSlapU I stand neutral on this movie. In my opinion, Dr strange is the last marvel movie I like to watch twice. Black panther 97 out of 100? I don't think so.

Although I love the fact that it's 99% African origin cast, the story is your basic political stuff. And MCU clearly ruins tense emotional scenes with stupid, on the nose comedy. Like common, in ragnarok, Thor's whole world basically falls apart and the genre is friggin comedy. Seriously?

I loved Black Panther, Shuri is bae. DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT COLONIZER!

Kinda felt like there was some political agenda and racisme towards the whities to it. But overall i liked the movie. The main character and 2 villans did it great
