I really like their laptops, or i used to. My HP lappy has a realtek WiFi card and realtek doesn't provide support for Linux. I think I also hate realtek. Furthermore, my laptop starts throttling because of dust being collected. Some people that I know have older Dell laptops that work better than mine

When I realised ruby on rails doesn't serve requests fast enough. It's response times are in 100s of milliseconds while the corresponding framework in elixir serves requests that are sometimes around 100 microseconds

I solemnly swear never to use the Fedora Media Writer tool ever again. I used it to create a bootable USB to install Ubuntu, and guess what, the setup opened fine, disk check gave no errors, but the setup always got stuck. So I created the bootable using Rufus and it worked like a charm.
