    Sometimes experience = easy degrees.
    If you can get exp recognized and there's not many obligatory courses.

    @joas I had a teacher that worked as a teacher for 5 years and never worked as a real developer, only get hired by his degree

    @inaba Good point, I know a handful of people that don't have many skills but have a lot of experience in only one or two very specific things.
