Anybody here remembering good old-fashioned LAN parties?

I still do em. Even though we connect via internet anyway. It just feels so much more intimate when you're in the same room.

Especially when you want to reach over and strangle your teammate because Boomer is so easy and he still manages to do 0 damage to the survivors

we used to run one once a month. no internet all local. and play classic games.

Anyone played some weird Quake rallye mod? I seem to recall driving a car on them old maps!

Quake was a revelation. As was Dreamhack.
