WHY?!

Plenty of biomimetic stuff out there...you know, like genetic algorithms and various other things in machine learning/DL.
Plus, you should build up a base in general knowledge first and then specialize.
Also, there's a lot of application and research work for CS in biology.

Seriously, give genetic algorithms a go. They're really cool.

Your pic is the plant kingdom; you realize that is polymorphism and class inheritance/overriding? The cell itself is a bunch of micro services that pipe information to each other and then coordinate themselves by multicasting chemicals.
