you might want to try Google Voice; for every google account it will give you virtual number that proxies to your real one. It has an app, supports calls too. I've never heard anyone else mention it so I guess it's kinda under the radar. Nice for prank calls. Convinced my friend I was the IRS investigating him by using a DC area code.
