I recently deleted facebook from my phone, and just a few days ago I got my first ever facebook ad! (An ad advertising that I should download the Facebook app.)

If this is not representative of Facebook's slow and perhaps eventual demise, I don't know what is.

This is related to devrant because I deleted the facebook app because I enjoyed DevRant more. Oh and also I feel less stressed now that I've basically unplugged from that rotten social media platform.

Hah. Good observation, never really got my return to Facebook ad. I recently quit, I thought I was some kind of prodigy for doing it now at the height of popularity but as they say on stock market, what goes up, must come down. To be perfectly honest, Facebook was really close to becoming a permanent thing, like to stay but the end result is just so ugh... I was kind of an early adopter, I always found the proto-facebook-hipsters somewhat funny, I'm not saying they were 100% in the wrong but I feel it only started degrading relatively recent. Oh well, it deserves to die, if anything, only because of Zuckerberg, that guy is sketchy af, I wouldn't let him take care of my plants (I don't have plants and if I did, he wouldn't be the caretaker)
