1366x768 displays and 5400RPM HDD should be banned in laptops.

@Jarand95 768p displays are really low res for complex IDEs. Also these panels are invariably TN panels with bad viewing angles and shit color reproduction.

And 5400rpm hdd just make everything slow af. Every application just chokes up.

Windows and it background processes don't help either. Even on Linux these hdd just don't cut it in 2018.

I'm trying to buy a laptop and I totally agree. Such expensive laptops with shit options. For any decent laptop with minimum of all that I'd like I have to spend a huge chunk because there are limited options for customization.

I see: for programmers it is a terrible choice! But many other people may perform their task with this old hardware.

My laptop has 5400rpm HDD. Sometimes it is slow and painful...but only 1.8Wh power consumption at max.

Also hate seeing Pentium and Celeron processors in laptops. Was a computer tech for a few years and that shit was the worst to deal with, soo fuckin slow.

Or opening a chrome window side by side the idea for a quick stack overflow.
