WHY THE F*CK CAN'T I DELETE FILES STARTING WITH A DOT USING FTP?
Guess these files will be there for ever...

    Show hidden files...
    Delete via ssh (maybe?)
Don’t add .files in the first place
    Rename it then delete it

@Its-jAsE @C0D4 can't rename it because it's not a valid file name. I only have FTP so SSH is no option and I also did not create the file.

Just leave it empty I guess

Sounds like a Windows problem. In Windows explorer, if you want to create a dot prefixed file you must add dot to the end (It will be discarded). I wonder if it's the same when deleting. 🤔

Use Linux 😎 ... at least in servers.

Ftp is not the one to blame here... It's your ftp client and/or os.

@joas well it is a Linux Server and neither Windows using FileZilla nor Android using AndFTP seem to work.

@EaZyCode but but it's not possible, linux is perfect, must be windows fault somehow
