@ebourgess frequent crashes sudden erroes an day the moment I clicked this picture it was using like 3 gigs of ram for no apparent reason I have used jetbrains products before and I am hugely invested into their ecosystem but their windows products suck
P.S. the *nix version is really awesome -
@VikiMaster2 that's a issue with my laptop screen I plan to get it fixed soon.π
Nothing to do with the IDE -
@BagarraoEduardo fortunately I installed the IDE on *nix it works as smooth as butter
-
@BagarraoEduardo *nix (in my case Linux) is much more configurable in terms of the stuff that you actually can install you can choose what you want to install when you want to update and the overall community support for Linux (for development only) is awesome

blem1410637y@BagarraoEduardo I had issues with some PyCharm release year ago, seemed like memory leak. I've looked for fix and saw posts on their forum about that - their response was it is known issue for some CPU and to send them logs done with third party app.
Downgrade worked like a charm. -
@blem14 thanks for the info broπ.
If you try the Linux version of pycharm it doesn't have that memory leak bug it has been fixed but I am not sure about windows.
Even today when I installed Rider in my Linux workstation it was running super smooth -
blem1410637y@sohilkaushal right now I am working with latest release and it is ok, so I guess it was not "my CPU's fault" since they managed to fix it. π

blem1410637y@sohilkaushal if you mean PC config, thats PC at work, so I don't remember all components, but that's some i7 with 8GB RAM and Windows 7 64bit.
