Did you know you can fix touchscreen dead zones with an electric lighter?! 😮

I just did it and my mind is still blown that it actually worked. So much that I had to post it.

I tried it yesterday...no luck so far...watched some yt vids...but still not clear to me where exactly I should point the spark on the screen...did you spark it right on top of the dead zones?

@2nd2NULL Yea in the middle of the deadzone. Had to do it twice. Kept the spark a little from the screen though. (because it was impossible with the type of lighter I had)

Lol, twice...tried it like hundred times everywhere...even got shocks from the housing after a while :)...will brick one more lighter before I give up

@Michelle no I would never do that to anybody! I was as sceptic. That was why I had to post it when it actually worked.

Tried on a oneplus one with the common dead row in the middle of the screen...

That's to bad that it did not work for you :(

Mine still works, need to press sometime just a little bit harder lately though.
