where can i learn to create this kind of custom animation and views? will you post a tutorial on how you make it, when and where you start to get your inspiration? ideally, how to put your imagination into codes? because in android, im lacking this skill :(

@NoNameCode i looked at it. but it seems to me that the explanation is too simple for a beginner to understand. like which animation class do what, etc.

@aimanb I have created another library called PodSLider, which has a simpler animation, and the best part for you about this is that I have streamed it live on livecoding.tv, here this is a link to the videos https://livecoding.tv/bhargav_mogra... just open the videos with the title "creating custom view widget" , here I have taken the rudimentary path of using Handlers to refresh the view for the animation, but later on used Android's animation framework (which I havent streamed),

... but the rudimentary method is the fastest way to learn how animations are at the core. So hope it helps you learn :)

@eldy Well this particular one took about 8hours, spent about 4 hours getting the color animation right though. Can be done a lot faster (like 2-3hours) if you know how animations work in android beforehand
