I once asked "why is the earth flat and other planets are not?" which at least got a different reply than before. The "watch the video i sent you" (a 90min video of a "professor") changed to "computer chips in every telescope". At that point i really hoped that person was trolling, because there is no fucking way computer chips were invented 500 years ago and distributed across the globe AND secretly put into telescopes without its user knowing it.

Earth can't be flat because we are in a 3D space. It could only be a plate, but then there would be no water left in the oceans. Of course, flat earthers say "but muh ice walls" but then it would be a bowl.
