I watched NASA’s manual on soldering from 1958. It’s 22 minutes long.

If I can’t suffer through first minute of your video without grabbing my phone, it’s not on my autism, and for sure not on “millennials” — it’s on your shitty content.

I mean by 1958 measures it was probably dizzyingly fast paced.

    Sanity Check:
Do you watch TikTok, Instagram or other short video content?

I would rather read the instructions than watch a video, but i'm xeniall, so it must be the gen x part.

I noticed I grab my phone during emotionally uncomfortable moments in TV shows, podcasts, etc

    kind of interesting

I actually spent years being enraged by my job and grabbing my phone to browse reddit until I calmed down. I now hate this habit. I needed it to not crack at the time tho

how do I erase it from my reflexes 😭

@jestdotty Yeah, you could do the old classic of pulling a blanket in front of your eyes. It's all just habits, you gotta farm the ones you want and intentionally break the ones you don't
