If its not lead dev or similar, dont accept. You dont want to work with bigger scale wordpress. I see my friend slowly deteriorating day by day because of that abomination.

@Charon92 thanks for the words of encouragement bro! That is what the hr dept said when I told them that my experience with wordpress was fairly limited. But the rep said that the lead developer was more interested in my php knowledge since most of his developers are more on the design side.

@sharktits whilst i wholeheartedly believe you I am a sucker for money. Like....i really really really like money. And me and the wife had a rather expensive lifestyle which I intend to keep no matter how much it blackens my soul :P

cursee171597yTake it. WordPress is childplay for correct website. But if you have to use WordPress for non WordPress purpose, good luck. But still take it.

@CurseMeSlowly thanks for the advise bro! Will follow up on what ends up happening.

cursee171597y@AleCx04 for the right amount of money I would even put a Iā¤ļø WordPress tattoo š

@AleCx04 yup. Take the job then during your free time study the technologies you want or create a side project if you like. Just to keep updated and not be stagnant. Cheers mate š
Hmmmmmm i just got offered a position for a php developer........but something that was not listed in the original application was that it is expected of one to work with wordpress. My wordpress experience is limited to creating simple themes.
I don't like cms systems also. But the position pays really good.
What to do what to do hmmm
