    I know Fedora does just that for a long time, but hey, at least Canonical learns from the best 😜

    Actually just adding a repository seems to take longer then as it updates the index every time? 🤔

    If I want to add 8 repositories, it'll take 8 times as long!

    @Meta great question! I'd like to hear from someone who is beta testing this feature when there is an update part.

    @Meta maybe it doesn't update until you run install.

    @Meta sudo apt-add-repository x y z

    Should take the same amount of time, instead of doing

    X
    Y
    Z

    In different commands.

    @AlgoRythm What about modular scripts where it harvests the repositories, then afterwards installs everything? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    answer* ans;

    ans = &@andros705.answer;

    @Meta.answer = ans;

    // Aka, "What he said!"

    @Meta it would be more than 8 times, because it would check the prevously added repos too.

    @Olverine this "lazy" approach is desired, I think...

    By post I mean ofc script where you forget to update the index, the provisioning script failes and needs fixing
