Tried for dual boot ubuntu first time ever, and it was not working because of legacy boot, got tired and just installed ubuntu without realizing that it will fomat the whole disk,
It still hurts

Made the same mistake myself. It was new laptop and lost the original windows too with all the data. Now I'm better at it than I ever was.

@Haxk20 I'd call myself an intermediate to advanced Linux user (been using Debian as my main OS for for about 1.5 years,by now I basically live in the terminal), but I can't get Arch + rEFInd to work... So maybe dont start with Arch 😅

@Haxk20 Nah, I'll just continue to curse at my laptop and refuse to start over, because "I know where the problem lies" (Hint: I probably don't...)
It's just a side project on my old laptop for me anyway. I'm still using Debian on my desktop. Maybe I'll switch to Arch one day when I've got acquainted with it enough
