m12i5057yGitHub, easier management, community, 1st class host, although not free, it's not very expensive for a year.

Not included in the choices but I'll go with Visual Studio Team Services. Free for up to 5 users and it has all tools from planning all the way to build and release. But if I will really choose, I'll go with Bitbucket

Gitlab. 'unlimited' free private repos and awesome tools!
I closed my github account a year or so ago :) -
@linuxxx hey mate I did a lot of research and comparison of those three. So far, I'm attracted to Gitlab especially its free continuous integration. What I don't like in Gitlab is the UI somehow. I like the UI of Bitbucket and Github. So I think I'm a transparent person judging all of those three. Cheers 😎

bahua128017yGitlab, without question. For me, it's just software to install on a hosted server, so the "free storage" factor doesn't enter into the equation at all for me. It has as much storage as I provide.
Ok guys what do you prefer for private repos and why?
GitHub, Bitbucket or Gitlab?
I prefer now Gitlab because it offers (I think) 10GB of free storage while others only offer 1GB.
question
github vs bitbucket vs gitlab
