I thought that the teambuilding of last year was bad... it was a workshop for the Wim-Hof method & an ice bath. Today, it was mucking horse stables, stripping some fences from barbed wire & horse riding.

My company has nothing to do with either anything related to ice baths or animals

I would actually appreciate it a lot. They seem to do a lot of effort giving you and your remote workers a good time. Your complain is like: "my fucking cancerous company just gave me 50 euro for no freaking reason! We're not a bank!".

    Why don't you appreciate it?

@jestdotty At my previous company they had invited a masseuse at least twice.

Any employee interested in such thing could get a free shoulders + neck massage.

I passed on the offer because:

    0. Didn't want to be rubbed, even touched by strangers.

    1. IIRC the masseuse was male. There's no fucking way I'm going to let another man touch me in _that_ way.

@jestdotty Today, we have a normal workshop & 4 hours of my boss copying motivational guru Tony Robbins.

He does a session like once every 3 months where he copies a speach of him since I started nearly 4 years ago.

To be fair, the activity was not that bad except we had no place to wash our hands after. They decided on sandwiches (without plates) with our dirty hands and now i have stomach today :')

Also was fun to see our spanish & kenyan colleagues suffer from freezing temperatures outside temperatures

Our "team buildings" are just games of Deep Rock Galactic from time to time. Much better than stupid pre-planned "outings"
