    @py2js sounds cool reporting Facebook to Facebook because Facebook is misusing Facebook users data, and then Facebook will pay you the price that Facebook set which is 40k of Facebook users data?

    @gitpush when some implement your idea very well 😂 nice wording

    @J-2FA WhatsApp doesn't collect anything... It's end to end encryption
  • 1
    @J-2FA ... What? What data... The data is encrypted by your device and then sent, encrypted, to the recipient device.

    Who decrypts it on the server.?

    @georgelynch My alter-... My acquaintance wrote

    @J-2FA can you prove any of that? Because zuck just lied to a senate committee then... He was pretty fucking adamant that WhatsApp messages are not stored or even viewable by FB

    @J-2FA lifelog? Is that real?

    @J-2FA truthfully I am kind of paranoid about some things I have read about. It is bigger than FB I think. I think Snowden will say more about that.

    Snowden... The professional liar? Yeah I'll take it with a pinch of salt, from both sides... I also don't trust zuck much... Until one or the other can prove it.

    Here's the thing though, beyond the technical limitations of maintaining end to end encryption with a backdoor in the middle and not being detected...

    How would we ever know, it's not like Facebook or WhatsApp is open source... Who audits them?

    I think if people have a general understanding of data, querying data, data aggregation and data retention they would be much more selective about what they put online.

    @J-2FA dude worked for CIA, he's not just a liar, he's a professional one.

    @J-2FA he allegedly risked his Life... It's all second hand sources...

    He may not even be real....
