Feature request: the ability to block users.

Why?

Oh boy, you really just deleted your post because someone disagreed with you?

Then again, this is probably useful.

Would a system of reporting not be more effective? Like if over 30 report a person within a set time period they get reviewed, if they get over like 100 in a month or something they get permanently banned sort of deal?

@hidden I think that both would be useful. For example take a user that doesn't make nothing bad to the community, but I really hate him, in this case I shouldn't report him cause he doesn't make anything bad, but I could block him

Fuck off with your blocking bollocks. This is devRant, where you can let off steam or talk bollocks for the enjoyment of the community. If it offends you, it may not offend others. I like reading different opinions, I've not seen any malice on here and there are things in place already to deal with that. If you want to start dictating what's acceptable perhaps you should just delete your account. Now that's how to rant!

@helloworld I personally don't have someone to block, I agree with you, its good to accept other opinions, but not everybody does, and a little feature such as blocking users could solve the problem, so if you don't need this feature just don't use it
