    Still don't know if I can trust any of these. So I stay with Google DNS.

    @Forside You think google doesn't like eating data? They could easily link your DNS requests to your Google account using your IP address.

    @irene
    And what upstream DNS server?

    @irene
    Well, why argue for using "your own DNS server" then? ;)

    @linux what DNS do you recommend? I'm on 1.1.1.1 and quad9 at the moment

    @loopback
    You have both? Damn you should prepare yourself when a host resolva correct one minute and not a minute after ^^

    @Linux I'm using pihole, so 1.1.1.1 as primary and quad9 as backup. Networking is at the top of my "to improve list" so let me know if I'm fucking up! :)

    @Linux so verisign is the least worst trustworthy option?

    I used to do 8.8.8.8 (back in 2014)

    @loopback

    The problem is that both 1.1.1.1 and quad9 "block malicous domain" and so on. The problem is when one decide to block a certain domain and the other not - you will get different results :)

    Better to choose one of those :)
