py2js33777yLooks like either you need to show everyone that you are that much capable and helping a senior in coding or you just have stop helping him

Hope9147yThe problem again is that I'm a student and I get treated by the misconceptions about them stuff like I don't know much about what I'm doing since I'm still studying and it really bothers me when I make stuff and he takes the credit for 'team work' even if I did it myself without anybody's help nor anybody asking. @happynacho

justmove7367ysay you don't have time to help you got your own work to do. and make sure you get the credit for your own work

How does these people get a job? When I get an interview I get "grilled" bybthe interviewer with technical questions.

Hope9147yI know exactly how this guy got it because he was a show off, he would go in the interview with his expensive laptop and latest iPhone and they'd immediately think he's a great and experienced developer while in reality his father was the one who bought them for him (Mac laptops are VERY expensive on my country compared to the currency)
And also another thing I knew when I sat with him is that he takes project from the internet as a copy paste into his laptop and calls them his which he doesn't know how they even work @aldoblack -

The situation seems really bad. They don't trust you and you are being abused by your co-worker.
Get out and go show your skills somewhere else. -
zshh38537yWhen he asks for help, don’t write the code for him but rather sit next to him and have a conversation about what you are trying to achieve, and why you need to achieve it. Don’t take over his keyboard, let him be the driver.
Maybe he’s insecure, seeing a student come into his workplace with more skills than himself. I’m guessing he’s trying his best. Maybe ask if everything is ok in his personal life? There’s always two sides to every coin.

Coworker Asks me for every little thing in the code 😑
He literally keeps asking me until I've written all the code for him and this goes on all day.
I really don't have a problem with helping him but he literally doesn't know anything (even the basic stuff) and is just getting code from other people and when I went on a holiday (3 days) he didn't do anything like literally no progress at all.
And yet he still gets paid more than me because I'm still a student 😥
Honestly I'm so done with this bullshit and I can't even get a job at a big company because apparently students are not dependable at all even if I do a better job than most devs who are 'years count' people where they barely knew anything and just do the job out of habit...
