So, the guy that first started selling petroleum jelly used to test it on cuts and burns he made on his arms. He found it prevented infection and helped heal the wounds. I will use petroleum jelly on sores and things to help heal.

@antigermgerm well, I left out the part where he would eat a spoonful of it every day. He lived into his 90s. So who knows.
