    There's a case to be made - and maybe it's hard to apply in practice - that part of your responsibility as a dev is to push back when asked to do bad work. Just like a doctor will refuse to do surgery quickly, or a lawyer will insist on due diligence.

    But yeah, I get that it's really hard to introduce that mentality when a company is used to doing things the shit way.
