Is anyone here a school dropout and now successful ?

I didn't complete high school or university and I'm doing ok. Just make sure you learn

Define successful.
I've worked as an application engineer for 5 years, which means I don't actually develop stuff, I just make sure all servers stay up and found out what's wrong if customers have issues.
I work with people who don't know how to use a linux system properly and do most of the work they take credit for.
If you call that successful, then sure.
It pays well, which is about the only reason I don't quit.

@forkbomber successful as in "was weak in school and got low grades but loved programming and learnt programming and made money and had a breakthrough" kind of.

@NikethMohan I which I was. I know bash scripting, but that's about it. I know programming logic but it stops there.

ITT grad here. I'm a rarity in this field it seems.

Also, another dev I know dropped out of highschool and later went to college and is a successful programmer.

* forgot to mention I'm a conventional college dropout.
