It's an alright operating system. It lacks a good editor though.

Emacs is one of the best tools I have used. It's clearly designed for another time, but if you take time to understand it, read the manuals, search in the melpa repositories for the add-on you want, then you'll have an incredible powerful and independant tool that will follow you everywhere you go as a programmer.

    That's my thought.
Anyway, I guess that the kyuteness debate is more interesting 😋

@fuck2code the GNU Manual for emacs, it's bad-looking and old, but it teaches all the basics you need to know.

Type MELPA package installation on Google and you'll learn how to install new packages.

It's the basics, you have to know how to use some commands because after, you'll be able to make extensions that will run those commands for you

@fuck2code I would highly recommend Mike Zemanskys videos on YouTube if you want a solid introduction. Also, make sure you go through the tutorial that ships with Emacs as it will walk you through most of the important keybindings that you need to navigate a codebase. Let me know if you have any questions!

It's a very good IDE for some sort of LISP dialect, but as editor, is just so darn frigging frigg awfully gross.

Anyway, it's time to test this machine for trapping kyute guyz and use their powers
