Did devrant always down scale pictures to 50%? it just feels that recently pictures have become even harder to read if compressed+resized

@JoshBent we haven’t changed image scaling in over a year probably, maybe even longer.

@dfox could it be some bug? I might be just losing it already, but I feel when I in the past uploaded a screenshot, it would get compressed, but not scaled down as much - so usually the width would be roughly ~80% of the original

@JoshBent it definitely could be but I can’t think of anything offhand that would have touched anywhere near that code. But I’ll take a look.
