Who hates when their parents think they're playing video games when in reality we're programming?

The only problem with me was no matter what I was doing, my parents thought I was playing games

for me, showing them i get paid took them off of my back for a while..

Both parents know programming so I'm in the clear. 😏

"Pause that game, it's time for dinner!"

"I can't pause it! it's compiling!!'

My parents used to do this as well.

But I love them anyway :)

@deadpool88 it didn't matter in my case, and I've talked to others that did the same thing and it didn't help them either. older folks that haven't made money from computers think if you don't go to work at 9 and get off at 5 you don't have a job

@deadpool88 my wife's grandparents and my family are prime examples, but they don't ask where the money comes from. it's like they think I found a money tree and do nothing all day

It seems they are old school. A mayority of millenials make big money using only their phone at this very moment. Well, you may ignore them if they dont listen.

I hate when my boss thinks I'm programming when I'm actually playing games.

@gasolinebased my great grandmother was among the first programmers in my country, her daughter knew to program for a while, and her daughter as well, so I am in a direct line of programmers!
