Wat? You say that you know that you can get better specs for same price but you don't need the better specs. So why the heck spend that extra money? For the logo?

@Koppaster it depends on your stacks/job requirements or even just the languages you code in in general. If your coding anything other than apple related software, dont get apple... likewise for Windows. And if your coding websites in php, suppose it doesnt really matter. Personal preference at that point

The only good reason for me is if you want to dev for iOS, macOS etc.
A Mac is also the only legal way to get access to OS X, Windows and Linux on the same device. -

The MacBook Air is nice.
I'd absolutely prefer Mint or Debian, but it's still nice.

Do you think is it worth buying macbook air or some other laptop for the same price? I know I can get better specs for that money but I dont game or do a lot of video editing so I Don't need a beast graphic card, I just need it for coding. What do you think?
