If you ever feel your interface is poor , just go through IRCTC interface once ; you will feel good .

It's good. Better than most government websites. What do you expect?

0. Signing in as a new user itself is a stone breaking task . The cookies even expire sometimes while filling such a long form .

1 . I am a student and even I know what a basic user friendly interface look likes , most buttons and forms are misplaced.

2. Advertisements are used as captcha and press the captcha doesn't even work .

3. The session expires so early that one can't even book a ticket .

4. In the mobile app verification cannot be done as the key is unknown there .

5. The website is not tested for different browsers .

6. Spelling mistakes :p .

0. I made two accounts. Didn't have any problem.

1. Interface is definitely good. Use a good browser. Nobody is stopping you.

2. I don't know what you are talking about. I see alphanumerals.

3. Never had a problem while going through the process of booking. If you linger for a long time on search/home page, then yes the session expires. There is a term called "security".

4. I use computer, explicitly.

5. Like I said earlier, why do you want to use it on different browsers? It works on Chrome, Firefox and many others. Stop using IE and get yourself a good browser.

6. Human make mistakes. Period.

I don't want to offend you, nor am I an advocate of IRCTC. It's just that it works fine, it is not like how it used be in the past.

1. Maybe after developing and learing more about interfaces it frustates me to see such interfaces .

3. I know for security reasons session expires but the session time should be increased by atleast 10 min.

@garuna It's not about time. Discussion should be done properly for it to be beneficial for both the parties involved. That's how we learn.

Why is every one after irctc,in here.
Yes the site had a few front end bugs. But atleast they are updating it. The new UI is nice,and more convenient.
Have you seen parivahan /Sarthi website,it makes one shit bricks ! Shitty.

@ceee maybe because I haven't used the past interfaces of IRCTC , maybe new one is better than the previous so it seems good to many.
