Are there any good options to generate passive income as a dev?

I too am pondering this.

I have my own company and have been doing some remote freelance work, but it’s not really enough tbh.

I’ve considered Udemy / Pluralsight / Toptal but they either have a high barrier of entry or not much promise of return.

I’m probably just going to go down the route of making something and seeing where that goes.

If you're selling some project yourself you could sell "your availability" to your customers after having sold them the project. I for example charge a little yearly for support of the websites I've sold. It's not that much money but if you start getting a nice amount of customers it's quite the bonus.
