@Codex404 not at all times imo. Sometimes small innocent lies are good for the relationship if it is for a surprise etc., however if you are a bad liar, this small innocent lie might be picked up as something more than what it actually is.

@Nilsen02 again, if you have to question your partner than your relationship is gone.

If my imaginary girlfriend would lie to me it means one of the following:
- she. Is cheating
- she has something not comfortable telling me
- she is planning a surprise

You can feel it if it would be the first, which is a good indication of failing relationships.
If its one of the other two there is no need to go behind her back.
