How hard do you think it would be to hack into Army HR and just cut his orders myself?

    Probably challenging. What orders? Who is he?

    @AlgoRythm My husband. We don't have orders to go ANYWHERE right now after his training, since his orders to Germany were stupidly pulled. And HR has started to ignore the IG's calls it seems.

    @JoshBent is the pin so you hear whether it's plausible?

    @QueenMorgana trying to figure out what IG stands for and whats this about, since I can guess by the context, but thought somebody would for sure expand on it :)

    @JoshBent Ah...

    IG = inspector general

    background: husband is Army. he was told I can't go with him to Germany because I'm missing my left hand and part of my left arm. We were told we had until June to decide what we're going to do, turns out we didn't. No one was giving him answers so I went to IG. They've been helpful up until people stopped returning their calls.

    Now, EFMP (special needs) says I can go, HR needs to cut the orders before they can make it official, though; HR says they can't cut orders until EFMP tells them I can go. And now HR won't pick up when IG calls to explain this.

    @QueenMorgana thanks for explaining it! what I don't get is why they would decline it, just because you're missing some parts of your left arm?

    @JoshBent "insufficient information"

    Too easy to just call my husband to tell him what info from me they needed. Or *scandalized gasp* call me to talk about what info they need...

    @QueenMorgana is there any way to smoke them out of safety? like threaten with lawyers or something, I feel they are doing it on purpose to extend over some time limit

    @JoshBent they own him for at least 3 more years. They're only wasting their own time while making it impossible for me to plan and prepare.

    @QueenMorgana wish you luck, hopefully it still goes well and it won't end in absolute disaster, just because somebody didn't want to take or do a call. Also still maybe think of some way to give them some heat.

    @JoshBent worst case, I have contacts in Congress, in the Equal Opportunity advisors office, and work for retired terrifying as shit Army officers who still have high ranking friends currently serving.

    If I don't make it to Germany, my fight isn't over. I refuse to be the reason my husband's career is negatively affected. The post in Germany has too many promotion opportunities for him compared to staying stateside

    @QueenMorgana sounds very promising to say the least 😄

    @JoshBent I take the futures of my fav olu rather seriously and don't fuck around. There are plenty of other reasons to not send him to Germany (no room, skills needed elsewhere, whatever)... Don't bring my arm into it unless you want me to fight lol
