The guy who was apparently teaching me. "Do you Google? Use Google, it's the best way to learn new tricks"

Opens browser, types google.com in the browser (firefox) searchbar and then opens Google homepage and then searches for content.

@flag0 Infuriating is an understatement my friend. I cant tell you how I felt for an year. Every next day I used to wonder where do these people grow.

But I do this, it keeps your old queries from popping up as suggestions.

@debug if you are logged in to chrome, it will show up anyways.

@EpIcInCoGnItO well, I had to explain to my Java teacher that the source port for a Socket would be random but he kept insisting that it would be same with the destination, they never listen to us, pupils..

@debug And by the end of the year I learnt alot of things but could easily see these people have never upgraded their memory, it's still in the 90s. They had a rigid way of doing things.

It's amazing how they don't come across correct or currently relevant way of doing things. Can you imagine teachers who teach C still use Turbo C, despite the fact they have to use things like Dosbox to run them!
  • 1
@debug Yes because these people think they learnt it in purity and no one can intervene with it. This guy used Firefox but he never clicked to make it the default browser because it was maybe not necessary as it was not his property.

@debug my degree college does that. And it's actually an very early version of the TC++ with an dorked compiler. Would love if college/uni moved to gpp
