I have been coding exclusively in Python on competitive programming websites. So far I haven't faced any issues w.r.t timing. Is it worth switching to c/c++?

You might like switching to C++. I sure did. But I'd say use what you like

@ausername did it actually improve your skills?

A programming language is basically just syntax. Your programming skills depend on the types of problems you practice, whereas your language skills improve with time and experience

In some competitive programming websites, the time limit is dependent on the language of your choice.

@tachy1 well obviously, different programming languages will be given different time limits because of their execution speed
